Q3 Academy PDF Print E-mail

It is planned to build a new academy on the Dartmouth High School site. The proposal is for an 11-18 school of 1,100 pupils and an annual admissions number of 180 pupils into Year7. The academy will specialise in design and enterprise with a strong focus on the arts and creative industries.

Students of Dartmouth High School were consulted on the name of the proposed academy and the Sponsor has agreed with the preferred choice – Q3 Academy. The derivation of ‘Q3’ is from a Latin reference advocating, “seek what is true, seek what is good, seek what is right”.

The School is planned to open in September 2008.
