West Bromwich Albion bought a 46-acre site off Birmingham Road, Great Barr in 2000. 

This was a £1.4m development as the clubs main training ground.

There were more site improvements in 2006 (£1m) This doubled the size of the existing building to include a classroom, weights room, more physiotherapy and gym space, offices, a kitchen and dining room and six new changing rooms.

In June 2010 further development was agreed. The site has nine outdoor grass pitches and a single-storey pavilion which will be extended. An artificial floodlit pitch with eight 15-metre high floodlights is proposed with an indoor training pitch. Work is also planned on a gatehouse and security fencing,and parking will be increased.
