In 2004 the Friends of Red House Park group was formed to work with Sandwell Council to develop the facilities in the park and to ensure that the communities views on the future of the Red House itself is made available.
The friends first main event celebrated 75 years since the opening of the Red House Estate as a public park and held a community Fun Day on 2nd May 2004. Since then there have been a number of different events supported by the friends.
